settling in
The past month has been insane and hectic beyond belief. It was basically a month of back and forth between Austin and OKC trying to wrap up a few projects get things turned off there and turned on here, etc. This week I've been settling in to our new pad. It's a pretty nice place in a wooded shady neighborhood. Moving in was a nightmare because of logistics but we got it done.
Now I'm trying to figure out how to get around Austin without getting lost, make connections with the local film community and wrap up the final cut of SEX MACHINE. It feels like it's been going on forever, but when you have less than $10,000 to make an overly ambitious feature film with a volunteer cast and crew, I think a one-year turnaround isn't so bad.
